Our Story

Oh Oh Cubie started with a simple idea: bread should bring joy to everyday life.

I’m April Ye, Founder and CEO of Oh Oh Cubie. As a minority immigrant and stay-at-home mom, I spent seven years raising two young children without a support system. Like many parents, I cared deeply about what my children ate. But I became concerned about the long lists of artificial ingredients commonly found in everyday bread. At the same time, my kids were losing interest in ordinary, unappealing options.

To make mealtime more exciting, I started baking bread at home using simple ingredients, natural colors, and playful shapes. I noticed something remarkable: when bread looked fun and beautiful, my children became excited to eat. Simple moments at the table became happier, warmer, and more memorable. That was the beginning of Oh Oh Cubie.

Today, we create clean-label bakery products made with no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no preservatives. From our signature Strawberry Bunny Bread to Soccer Bread and Sakura Bread, every product is designed to turn everyday bread into a fun and shareable experience for modern families.

From our production facility in Houston, Texas, we combine creativity with scalable manufacturing while maintaining high standards for quality and food safety. We are also proud to support local Texas farms and suppliers, including sourcing whole milk from Oak Dairy Farm.

But Oh Oh Cubie is about more than bread.

As a woman entrepreneur, I am passionate about creating opportunities for other women, especially stay-at-home moms returning to the workforce through flexible employment and supportive training.

At Oh Oh Cubie, we believe food should do more than satisfy hunger. It should bring joy, create connection, and turn everyday moments into something special.
